Birkenstock 1774

Birkenstock is a "Made in Germany" brand, setting the standard for comfort, quality and classicism worldwide. In 1774, Johann Adam Birkenstock founded the eponymous and now legendary Birkenstock 1774 label. The ergonomic sole to which it owes its fame was created a century later, in 1896, by master shoemaker Konrad Birkenstock. More than 80 manufacturing steps are required to create a Birkenstock 1774 shoe, whose sole combines jute, cork, latex and leather to make it ultra-comfortable. With over a century of expertise, the German company has adapted to the ecological transition and produces its shoes locally, using environmentally-friendly techniques. These timeless models can be worn outdoors for gardening, walking or work, or indoors for cocooning!
